removing gauges

how do i remove the bulkhead datamarine gauges in the cockpit facing the helm?

I have already removed the screws holding the backing ring...but it is stuck...what's next?

If you have the standard DataMarine Corinthinian S-200DL, do not mess with the screws holding the unit in place. Instead, look at the back end of the unit from inside the boat. You should see a spring clip all around the outer edge of the unit which holds it in place. Use pliers to ease the clip off and slowly pull the unit out. You may have to unplug the shallow depth alarm switch as you ease the unit out. Removing the unit this way avoids having the break the seal of the bezel on the cockpit bulkhead.
