Remove Transponder

Removing the transponder in a 2013 Beneteau 37 Sail. Recently purchased this 37 and have not figured out how to remove the transponder. Feels like the wrong way could be a real problem.

A transponder in the sail? Or an AIS transponder? Never heard of a transponder in a sail, and not sure why you'd remove an AIS transponder.

It’s been a while since @DLW posted the question. He either solved the problem or he pulled out and the boat sunk before he could put in a plug.
