I have what is most likely the original porta potty in my boat. I want to replace it with an Thetford. However I am wondering is it possible to get it into the head area without removing the bulkhead? It seems I have to cut the other in half to get it out. Not something I am looking forward to. Has anyone else installed the Thetford 365 porta potty? It seems as though it comes apart.

I use a Thetford on my boat. Yeah, they come apart in the middle. Bottom half holds waste and the top half carries flushing water?

If your current porta potti has to be cut in half to get it out, how the heck do you empty it? Never mind, I probably don't want to know.

It's a MSD Model and you pump it out. Even if it split in half you would have to turn it sideways to get it out.

I am a bit confused... Why would you need to remove the bulkhead? Is the toilet bigger than the entrance from cabin to head? If so it must be super comfy :)
