Any one removed the Main Traveler Track? This is a tough chore, I started this weekend only to find that many of the nuts on the port side at the head are not accessible. One of them had the bulkhead between the head and the companion way stairs straddling the nut so it was not accessible with out cutting it out. Unfortunately on the 28.5 the track runs all the way across in the cockpit so there is only 2 inches between it and the back rest in the cockpit seats. Bottom line you can not slide the car out to replace it for that matter even the blocks at each end of the traveler track.
I am down to the cutting out the last 2 inches of the flange so I can pull the car off. The resulting cut out will be covered by the block when screwed back into place.
All this because I did not do grease maintenance on my main car.:naughty:
