removable outboard bracket

there are few removable brackets brackets on the market because when ever there is a need for an outboard bracket, it needs to be mounted on the the boat.... a removable one is not what the very largest of the majority of the market wants.

but if one was handy with metal work, its easy enough to build an adapter for about any type of bracket for any type of boat/mounting, or build an entire bracket like this very simple one...... duckworks.
rigrite has their own version, and for adapter plates, look at the bottom of the panther page here,... and other brands at amazon here and here.

cost is usually an issue for most of us, but in my opinion, quality is more important than cost. this means spending whatever it costs to get a quality product that will last a lifetime.... sometimes you have to build it yourself to get that result.

The CL16 used to offer a remove able bracket for small motors. C&L Boatworks. Not sure it is still available. Would only be suitable for small motors.

If the engine is easily removable why the need for a removable bracket? On the contrary we use fixed brackets, cables and locks to prevent thieves from walking away with the outboards. I guess Seagulls are no longer that desirable. (just kidding)
