All you east coasters, don't forget Philadelphia Strictly Sail is coming up. it's the biggest mid-winter rendezvous for sailors held on the east coast in the last decade. With the holidays fading into memory and still 3 months of winter ahead, I know you can use a good, in-person sailing fix. The show runs January 20-23 and tickets are available on-site or through the Related Link below. Wish I could Go

I have not been to a sail boat show since last years atlantic city boat show,went to ny two boat show what a diappointment that was but I'll be in cancun next week.Ive been trying to go to any show since ac but always can't make it.Any boat show's in florida feb or march,I need a boat show fix real bad,my wife keeps making the vacation plans,what's going on with that????.Maybe I'll get some sailing in this winter,can't wait for april to come back. nick

Strictly Sail Chicago

I'm going to the chicago show. I kinda wish I had waited another two weeks and go to the Miami Show. I've already booked airfare though. I'm sure I'll like it anyway. Iv'e never been to one. What should I expect? Tim Welsh Hunter 34 AKA Cabo Wabo

Hmmm ... Miami vs Chicago in the winter ... what were you thinking? But then again, Navy Pier is a spectacular place for sure. Treat yourself and stay at one of the nicer hotels along the gold coast. We stayed at the Doubletree, right next to Water Tower Place and it is right in the middle of a lot of great places to visit. You may be able to find a reasonable deal and it is close to Navy Pier. If you've never been to Shedd Aquarium, it shouldn't be missed. It's spectacular in the summer with all the sailboats right out in front, looking through the auditorium window. O well, it's still worth the visit in the winter.I wanted to go to the Chicago show on my bithday(just because I love Chicgo), but we're going skiing that week instead. We are planning to go to the Philadelphia show.Scott
