Just a reminder: July 25-26-27. Well, at least the night of the 26th at the stone house in Emerald Bay on Lake Tahoe. 26th, Saturday is Pot Luck. I'm bringing a bucket of KFC. Who else is coming? You can put your boat right up on the sandy beach there. Very calm water at night. Very dark and quiet....unless a bunch of MacGregor owners are there! Bring a gas lantern.

Any responses?

Was glad to see your post, kept missing any Mac group. Thought there was another one out of the Sac area, any takers yet? I tore my Main but would really like to meet local Mac folks. Was going to order to day but doubt I could have it ready in time. Know of any 26c mains looking for a home? Craig 'QUANDARY"

No response yet.

The only thing that would keep me from being there on Saturday night would be bad weather, or if my boat sold. I don't look forward to eating a whole bucket of KFC all by myself. Someone else originally scheduled the flotilla a few months ago. I'm just posting this information as a reminder.

Wouldn't want a heart blockage! No worry's, on another forum it sounded like many will be there. One of a few links I found later added below. Glad you posted or I wouldn't have known of it. I'll even put my catamaran main on if I have to ( bright green and a bit short) to sail. Hope to see you there!

It was fun and interesting........

For those of you who could have been there, but didn't show-up....too bad. The food and company were very good. Craig C was there! There was way too much food! 25 - 30 people showed up. 10 boats at the immediate location, and another 4 in the Bay unrelated to the pot-luck. Considering that Emerald Bay is only about 1/3 mile across, 14 MacGregors in that area was a lot of MacGregors! Let's see if I can get this right: MacGregor 19, 22, 22, 25, 26s, 26s, 26s, 26s, 26x, 26x, 26x, 26x, 26x and 26x. Don't know why those other four MacGregors didn't come over. Guess they weren't even curious about so many MacGregors being in one spot.

Hey you early riser!

You sure did leave at the crack of dawn! I slept in, the sound of the creek at the beach and just the nature of floating kept me below. Glad you brought your boat over, strength in numbers! Did you get to meet bruce? He pulled in between brian and my 'D' about 11pm with motor problems, nice guy. Everyone there was just great. I will post pictures later on a pic website, forgot the one Bob Cassels mentioned, north-something. Stay in touch!
