relocate 12v outlet for autopilot

I want to move the 2(two)12v outlets for the autopilot and accessories in the cockpit to a location next to the steering pedestal on the starboard side of the cockpit. They are now in the footwell behind the pedestal and we are always kicking or bumping them when we move around in the cockpit. The actual relocation is not the problem. It is finding a new recessed panel to mount the 2 12v receptacles in. I would like to be able to have the entire outlet and 12v plug recessed in the panel so that we do not bump them as described above. I've been trying for the past two hours to locate a source for a panel and am having no luck. Can anyone lead me to a vendor which makes cockpit panels (call them by any other name, but I hope you get the idea) for multiple 12v outlets?

Is this just a flat panel? A local plastics shop could probably make you one or you could make one yourself out of Starboard.
Starboard is easy to work with using common wood working tools. WM carries a variety of sized pieces.

Is it tiller or wheel? If it's a wheel, then you could just mount the connectors in the pedestal.

You could buy an outdoor plastic junction box that has 4 holes for a plate to be screwed over the top of it.

Normally these have a built in rubber gasket around them.

Cut a hole in the side of the cockpit, very carefully. You want this to look nice...

Screw the the outlet box in from inide which will create a recessed box out of the way. Then install normal 12v receptacles inside of the junction box. The only thing that would be visible is the wires from the cords...

I looked and thought for sure there would be some type of RV recessed box for 12v plugs, but I didn't see one...
