Will I have Trouble regestering my home built dinghy if it does not have a manufactures tag in the state of Florida?

Depends on the dinghy

Sailing vessels without an auxiliary engine do not need to be registered in Florida. However, many people put the registration number of their larger sailboat on their inflatable or rowing dinghy to discourage theft.PeterH23 "Raven"

Call the place in your County where you Register boats and they will tell you the procedure. We had to get a homemade boat inspected by Fl Marine Patrol before they would let us Register. Give them a call and they'll tell you what to do.

any sailing vessel 24ft or less w/o

anything larger than 24ft must be registered motor or not.
