Peggy, did you get my email about the Regatta at Beaver Lake? We're inviting you back to check the heads of all the boats in the race! Your spot on our boat is being held until you let me know otherwise, and your meal ticket is paid in full.

And I really appreciate the invitation, 'cuz it's a wonderful event on a beautiful lake, and I had a great time on your boat. But as I said in my reply to your email invitation, I won't be able to make it this year.
