The Cowl Vents on our '84h34 were looking pretty rough so I checked the archives on this site and found out that the 5" size is simply no longer made. Several posts mentioned "nicro-cote" available from West marine for $20. I did a little homework and found out it was simply a white vinyl spray paint available in auto parts stores for about 3 bucks. Brought the vents home, gave them a good scrubbin' and applied the vinyl paint 1/2 hours work and they look like new! Just want to say thanks to all who ask and contribute info here, it really makes life easier.
