Refurbishing
George-- I think the best place to start is actually aboard your boat. Start by evaluating the boat and its systems. For example:Is the hull sound?Do you have blisters to repair? Is the keel in good shape, as well as the swing mechanism?Does the fiberglass just need a good compound & wax, or must it be painted?Does the rig need to be replaced, or just tuned?Do you need new sails, or just a cleaning and check up by a good sailmaker? There are any number of good books on the subject of boat repair and maintenance, fiberglass repair and painting, etc. Many of them would be helpful in tackling a project like this. Still, I'm not aware of any that list everything in one place, start to finish, since projects such as this vary greatly from boat to boat. It's a matter of identifying what you need/want to do on your particular vessel, and taking it step by step from there.Randy
