We have a Waeco refrigerator. After reading several posts, it seems to be a good idea to purchase and carry a recharging kit (to add R134A coolant). One post stated the hose & gauge combination device could be found at Great-Wave.com but when I contacted them they stated they no longer carry the combo just the hose. To avoid overcharging the unit, we'd like to find the hose and gauge. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thank you. I actually saw this same kit at the auto store. We had just returned a different one purchased as the low pressure side was too big for our service port and the tech said they did not have an adapter. I asked about the other kit and the tech thought it too would be too big. Did you buy an adapter at Walmart as well?

Adapter probably has to come from internet source.. The quick connector on the hose is for automotive low pressure valves.. You'll have to determine what kind of valve is on the low pressure service side of the system..

Careful- A few grams too much will drasically degrade the efficiency. Search info from Richard Kollmann for details. However I have recharged my system by watching the run current of the compressor.
