Hi all! I have a 1989 Beneteau 390 and am having problems with the refrigerator. It is a drop-in model and it is not getting cold. It has been tested at the panel and found to have power, but at the thermostat, there is no power. Has anyone had this problem or know what the problem could be? I have a 390 and the former owner added a compressor to the bottom of the dry goods locker. I think it is a Norcold. The fridge works flawlessly if I do not turn the dial up higher than 2-3. If I do, it freezes everything in the bottom. A friend has a drop-in unit and it does not work well. Pete svtula 403-519-3667

Can't really help you. I have an OC400 with the water-cooled Fridg-O-Boat (?) that I have come to an uneasy peace with. The water cooling part is the most bothersome. I finally disconnected the pump and run the reefer without water cooling. The compressor doesn't get hot, but I can't run the freezer portion (separate compressor) without water cooling, so I use the top-opening freezer as an ice box.
