The fan on my Alder Barbour cold box is making a lot of noise. Sprraying it with lube doesn't help. Probably the bearings are shot. Anyone know where i can get a replacement fan? Can't find an Alder Barbour web site.
I replaced my fan motor a year ago. If you remove it you will find the name of the manufacturer and the model number I went on the internet and found it . Cost about 15.00. Same kind of fan motor they use in computers to cool them down. Sorry I can't remember the name of the company but it is easy to remove and find the name
I replaced the fan that cools the condenser last year when the original started squealing. Found a perfect match at Radio Shack for about $20. Make sure you get a 12V fan, not 110v.
