Refers are very power hungry. If you put those group 27's together for a house bank and added a starting battery, you could pull it off. With that small alternator, you would be looking at about 5 hours of engine run time per day to replace the power used. A larger alternator and "smart" regulator would cut the engine run time to half of that. This has been my experience with an AB Cold Machine (air cooled) here in FL.
