We added a Isotherm ASU 3700 holding plate refrigeration system to our Yamaha 33 this summer. I increased the house bank to 380 AHr and moved the engine start battery back to the cavity for the spare water tank under the quarter berth. With our solar panels it worked ine this summer for our 4 1/2 week criuise through the Gulf and San Juan islands. Added 2-3 inch foam to the outside of the ice box ( need to add more) and sprayed foam through holes drilled in hull side of box. We are using the stock alternator and regulator and no issues. Also added. Mastervolt 40 amp 3 bank charger. Battery voltage voltage never dropped below 12.5 volts on our cruise!
