Refrigeration O'Day 34/35

Has anyone installed refrigeration on an O'Day 34/35?
Am planning on installing the compressor in the side cabinet to the right of the sink and using the rear (larger ) box for a refrigerator with a small freezer. Any ideas/advice?

Hi,

My boat (35') came with a Seafrost Engine Driven refrigeration system. Both the forward and aft icebox have the cold plate mounted.

The system was expensive when it was installed in the early 90's. It still works. I don't use it all that often, but it's great when I'm cruising.

We have an O'day 34 and are looking to install a refrigeration system also. I was thinking about tabbing a shelf into the port lazarette just above the water heater for the compressor/condenser unit. That makes it a shorter run to the aft ice box. Less pipe to vibrate and crack.
