Does anybody know how the fridge=freezer is insulated on a 430 I suspect mine is wet. The freezer plates go to minus25 C but water bottles do not freeze and the separate fridge runs continuously.I cannot sweet how you can access the insulation without pulling the boat apart!

Highly unlikely. The first (and simplest) step is to check the actual temperature in the fridge and freezer compartments with an independent thermometer to see what your actual temperature is.

A loss of refrigerant would be my first guess.

have had the gas levels checked and they were O.K.and the cold plates ice up at -25 c

Ice up at -25? And you suggest that water doesn’t freeze? How is that?

That is why I suspect the insulation is letting heat in faster than the cold plates take it out,Ido not think it warm air coming in as the ice build on the plates is not too high. and the 2years ago the bottles would freeze.

If this is a new problem then your letting warm air in now. Replace the lid seal.
