Fellow Bene Owners; I have a '94 OC400 with the Fridgobot (French) reefer/freezer system. IMHO, the system was poorly installed by the factory (no corrosion protection on the electrics, wrong size connectors, components shoddily mounted, woodshavings, fiberglass dust everywhere, etc.) The system is becoming very intermittant, even with all the connections cleaned and tightened. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance. Larry W.

Frigoboat

I have a 93' Oceanis 350 (new to me). this summer I had to change the control module ($200 parts / $130 labor). The tech installed a demoss module, which is "universal". The Frigoboat website, now sells the demoss unit, and touts it as better than the previous supplied unit. The system works, the only problem is that with the Hot Texas summer, the air colled fridge has trouble keeping up on the very hot days during the week (when the boat is closed, and I run a dehumidifier which kicks out a bit of heat.) I've recently bought parts directly from Frigoboat with no problems. Changing the module does not seem difficult. Good luck Marc

Marc; Those controllers are a bear, all right. My freezer blew a fuse and I can't find a fuse that physically fits the holder. The system works well. It's water cooled, and in the Southern California climate it doesn't really work that hard, but I don't like that open thru-hull.
