What is the correct pressure refridgerant reading for the Adler barbour . The boat is 12 years old, are the machines all the same as far as pressure reading is concerned???Ant advice appreciatedJim
Do you have a set of gage manifold to check the pressure? That would be the only way you could check the pressure. What makes you think the pressure is low?
The suction gas pressures are different for the large evaporator (15"x6"x12") and small (10"x6"x11"). Lid open at approx. 75 ambient the large should be 12 to 13 psig. Lid closed and unit fully frosted 5 to 7 psig. The small evaporator, 8 to 10 warm, 4 to 6 frosted and cycling.
Because it takes an hour or more to frost up & only frosts the bottom 4inches of the holding plate, it does not have an evaporater, & the machines are 12 yrs old. Wouldn't some of it leaked out???Jim
I don't think I have an evaporater, its a completely closed box that looks like a holding plate.I need this info for a local caribbean islander with a gauge & some r12, is that the correct refridgerant? Is it possible that the refridgerant was changed for this & are the different kinds compatable if mixed???Thanks Jim
