Someone in the past put dark stain/ugly varnish on the interior wood of my '77 Catalina 25. Lots of old holes in the bulkheads where things have been hung over the past 37 years. Going to rip it all out and replace with either Grade A teak or Grade A mahogany ply for the bulkheads and solid teak or mahogany for the other pieces. Either way, the wood will cost about $250 and I'm the cheap labor. Has anyone used mahogany for the interior instead of teak, and how did it turn out? Any other suggestions? Thanks.
