I am preparing to put my 1967 O'Day Javelin back in the water after a long period of storage. I'm refinishing the teak floor boards, and have carefully stripped and sanded off the old spar varnish. I have a question. Do you varnish BOTH sides of the floor boards? It appeared to me that only the top had a finish, but they were in pretty bad condition, so there may have been a basic finish on the bottom as well. Any advice in this area would be appreciated.
