Has anyone had a problem with the lines between the compressor and the cold box sweating? We have a 1999 H340 and ice forms on the insulated lines. When the ice melts, it produces a fair amount of moisture which collects in the compartment. Also, the compressor seems to runs constantly even when the thermostat is set low. We would be interested in hearing if others have had this or a similar problem, and what can be done to eliminate the sweating problem as well as the lack of cycling.

Insulation Tubes

When I installed my system, I bought hot water insulation tubes at Home Depot for a couple bucks. I slid them on the lines, and it stops the sweating problem. They are slit on one side, so they go on easy. It sounds like your sweating so much the lines are freezing up. Try the tubes. They are a cheep fix. I haven't had any problems running mine all year 24/7.

My refer on my 460 didn't cycle, check the site glass on the compressor, you may be low on coolant (freon) fluid. Had it filled and everything is working fine.
