I opened the sink drain sea clock and the water is not draining. Only ice has been placed in fridge and I do lot believe there is anything in the line. Is there something I'm missing?

From your post, you think the refrigerator drain has backed up into the sink and now the sink is full of water. Is this correct?

Ice melted. Now the water will not drain. When under way I close the seacock so water does knot backfill.

Ice in sink melted. Did something clog the drain from inside the sink? I'd start looking at it from the sink down to the seacock. If you release the hose on the seacock and if water drains from sink to the hose you are holding (in a bucket or on your shoes) you know the sink drain line is clear. If Clean then you need to examine the seacock and the thru hull. This requires more care than the hose. If no water is coming out the hose, then you have a regular plumbing clog in the line. One last thought, are their any closed valves under the sink for the drain hose between the sink and the seacock?

There are no other valves under the sink. I'll try disconnecting at the seacock then check the through hull. I'm able to intake saltwater through the same seacock. So maybe it the drain hose. Thanks

Opps... I am hoping you mean that when you open the seacock you can see sea water coming in.
The drain line should not be connected to an intake line. Otherwise you could be pulling in the grey water you are draining out. Check that you are using the seacock connected to the drain line.

Also close the seacock before your remove the hose. No need to bring a bunch of seawater in when you are trying to drain water out.

Look for an electric sump pump install somewhere in the undersink area.

I have a 345, the ice box floor is below the water level outside the hull and will not drain through a through hull fitting. Apparently there was a foot pedal pump that emptied the ice box. In reality the drain fixture was a very poor affair and all the ice box drainage ran around it into the bilge. I did put a proper through hull fitting in the bottom of the ice box and that is when I found that you can not just allow it to drain to the outside. Hence the need for manual or electric pump to empty the water from the bottom of the ice box. I have opted for a manual collection into a plastic bottle.

The fridge drain and the salt water intake use the same seacock. When the seacock is closed the saltwater pump for the galley sink pumps water out of the fridge. When open it pumps salt water. Thanks for all the input.
