Pictures would help.

If it trully is a rivet, any tool store has them... you want to match the metal so you probably want aluminum rivets.

I have one of these... super easy to use

but if you mean the pin that goes inside the sheave... then you need to know who made your boom.

Ok, good question, not sure who made the booms and masts for Pearson in ‘72
It is a rivet, but not a pop rivet.
I will try to get a picture

Lift this pin and slide the entire slide off the track

then from the back of the slide you should be able to remove these pins…replace
the sheave and reuse the pin…

Just a little extra on rgranger's useful post.
To remove the blocks you will need to remove one of the black plastic end pieces.
Try either end to find which (hopefully) unscrews easiest.
Once the blocks are off you will find that the pins or rivets are hollow for about 1/4 inch on the inside .
These are pressed in and to remove them you will need to drill them out.
So they become unuseable. I tried to find these pins in various makers catalogs with no success.
So you have the thing apart and no pins.
I rebuilt my deck turning blocks using SS capsrews. If you have enough room inside your blocks you can use 6mm or so ss countersunk screws. You want the type where the tread doe not go all the way to the head.
Not like this. As the tread will chew up the inner of your new sheave.

You want something like these.

Then and acorn nut or nylex nut on the outside.
Here is how I did my deck turning blocks. Might give you an idea.

All the best gary

Wow, great fix and great instructional video! My 1984 Catalina 36 had a lot of hardware with those white plastic sheaves that disintegrated. I did a similar thing, and I made the new sheaves of Starboard on my lathe.
