Can anyone explain just how the original reefing system (I think its original) on he 1976 Hunter works. I have 3 sheaves and a jamb cleat. Three reef points (Cringles ?) on the main. I understand the theory just not the mechanics at the moment. Should there be hooks at the gooseneck for the forward cringle? A Novice here. Boats in the water, still in the shakedown mode but were going sailing this weekend.
