I keep my 43' Hunter in Shoreline Marina in Long Beach and always either go to Newport Beach or to Catalina. I wanted to sail up to Redondo Beach and anchor or pick up a mooring out in the harbor. I see some boats in pictures that look like there anchored or on a mooring but I can't find any info about it. The harbor website only talks about end ties for rent. If I'm going to spend the night on a end tie I might as well stay at my own slip. Does anyone have any info on anchoring or the moorings? Is it worth sailing up to for a night or two?
