Last spring someone was asking for ideas on how to change the floorboards on his 322. I am planning to do the same thing to my 322 and am wondering how his project turned out.
John I had to place part of the cabin sole on my 322. The sole had evidently been replaced before and it was glued down!!! Fortunately we have a Lumber yard that has teak and holly plywood. I used the peices I wanted to replace as a template and cut then cut them out of the new plywood. Actually it was'nt too bad and I am not that much of a handy man. The Key for me was simply getting the Teak & Holly plywood. Hope this helps
Stripped and edid mine about 3 years ago with a regular Urethane floor varnish. Looked good but was VERY slick. Had to redo of the floor this year so I am using the "Ultimate Sole" finish.Just started, so hard to say how this will turn out.If replacing sole, parts are glued down from the factory so good luck getting them up.Jeff
Thanks for the information. I was wondering how the floorboords were attached to the hull. I think I'll remove the last of the finish and use something like "ultimate sole"John
Good luck, I found out that the "Utimate Sole" is real temp. sensitive. Put on the first cost last week came back the next day after the temp had dropped and it was still tacky.Instructions said to keep around 68, they mean it.Jeff
