Hey guys, I've been thinking of redesigning the table and v-berth extension setup in my H260. The table's too big one way and too small when turned to extend the v-berth. I'm thinking of making a permanent extension to the v-berth with cabinets below it on top of that section of where the setee used to be. My next step is to cut down the table so that it seats four, not eight, and possibly make two leaves on the table. I'm good at woodworking, so the final fit and finish will be good. What do you all think of the idea, and does anyone have other thoughts other than what has already been posted on this forum? Thanks, Greg

Man that looks sweet Chris, How do you keep your table in the up position like how I saw it in the picture? Did you drill a new pin hole? I Cut some 3/4" plywood to lay down around the seating area for a large bed and used 2" pvc cut down the middle and then velcroed it around the post to hold the table up and out of the way. Bob

Bob, The previous owner drilled a hole in the mast post the same size as the existing. There is lines running through the mast post (for the center board), so the hole was drilled from each side of the post rather than straight through. I learned it's much easier to insert the pin when the center board is down. The lines in the post are more flexible. Chris

Replacing the "ring"

Anyone know where I can get a replacement ring that goes around the compression post on the table - right now I have a ragged hole - also hope it is something that does not require removing table etc. but willing to learn!! Thanks, Bill
