My '79 H30 Cherubini needs a new red/green lens in her Peters & Bey bow running light. The markings on the light fixture are PB 12m NSK 73 25w with DHI 02/01/72 on both the fixture and the plastic lens. Can anyone tell me where I can find a replacement? I hear they were used on Morgans and Hinkley boats as well. Any help would be appreciated! jim campjuno@hotmail.com

Steve, I contacted Hunter and they were not familiar with P&B and had no idea of where to get a replacement. They were nice, but could only wish me well and hope I come back and buy a new boat from them someday (smile). Anyone with any ideas or leads on a Cherubini in a boneyard??? jim

I have been looking at the bow light on my '79 Hunter 30'. I have replaced the stern light as the plastic shield exploded one day. I have now replaced stern, anchor, and runing lights with new fixtures. Only the bow is remaining. Find something that will bolt in place and take a hard look at the wire. Good Luck Ian

I have a 78 H30 and my bowlight lenses are so faded that the red looks clear. I am going with an Aqua Signal on the bow pulpit for improved visibility. I've got the fixture, I just need to get the wire up the pulpit and hook it up, then figure out what to do with the old hole. If you want the flushmount style like the original, looka at the Seadog model 400180. It was listed in the Sailnet catalog in 2001 (the year catalog I keep at my desk), but is not on the Sailnet website. It is still listed on the Sea-dog.com website, so it should be available. In 2001 the fixtures were $26.29/pair from Sailnet.
