Does anyone know what type of alternator in in my 2011 Hunter 50? It is NOT a stock Hitachi, the only thing I know for sure is it is painted red. It also has a single v belt drive and I don't know if it has a smart or dumb regulator.

There really is no way for any one to give you an educated guess or (SWAG - scientific wild a$$ guess) without more information. Please try to take a photo of a label or name or manufacturer's serial or part number for the alternator.
Smart or dumb regulator??? is your alternator attached to a secondary piece of equipment? Again... Photo. Part number or manufacturer serial number.
Not enough information. Will agree it is not a stock OEM alternator. Alternators of up to 90A usually run on a single belt. Below is a Performance Alternator 130A used in 90s Mustangs.

Might have been bought used, off a Beta or Westerbeke. They're also red. But that doesn't help much.
