Since the mast is keel-stepped can I remove all the shrouds or do it one side at a time?

use halyards as a temp support, and only disconnect and service one shroud at a time. Cap shroud will be fine gone with temp support, forward and lower in the mix.

edit: i misread, this is core, not bedding replacement: best to pull the mast if you can so you can attack the whole area. Otherwise temp support is still recommended.

Curious how the deck core replacement went around the chainplates for you?
I am soon to tackle the same, have the mast out and spars all being stripped and repainted and all new standing rig and chainplates.

Wow! Well I got into doing the bottom job and finishing the inside so we could move aboard. We are living in the boat on the water and we need to head south for warm air.
We rebuilt the bulkheads and reattached our chainplates, I only did a small amount of core replacement on the deck.
Please post photos of your progress!
