Peggie, I am in the process of reconditioning the sanitation system on my '85 Catalina 30. The previous owner disconnected the head from the holding tank and made the head a direct discharge in 1987. I sail on the Chesapeake and want the boat to be legal. I was going to replace any remaining hoses with new hose. My question concerns the Ronco holding tank. Should I have any concern about the tank after sitting empty for 13 years ? Or should I just hook it up and test with water. Thanks
