Anyone have a recommendation for a cost-effective, easy to install line cutter - its on the hard and I have been testing my luck in the Chesapeake without one I'd prefer not to have to pull the prop or pay 750$
I have a simple serated disk that works very well. Mine is a one piece, but split ones are made so you don't need to pull the prop. It cut lines very well except if the line is floating and not attached on one end. Then it just wraps around the prop. But for normal lines that are attached to a trap, it works great.
