I have a small waste tank (<15 gallons) and it is solid black. No light permeates it and there is currently no tank monitor. Thus, I can only guess when it is time to pump out as there is no visual clue. Would someone like to recommend a good, reliable waste tank monitor? Thanks, Dave

Snake River AcuGage

Check it out on their website (link below), buy it from the online store here. Best system on the planet IMO.

I Second The AcuGage Suggestion

I put a Snake River system in my '88 Catalina 30 and it works very well. No holes to drill in the tank/s! When I had installation questions I found the tech support to be respond quickly and very helpful.

Wiring for the Snake River gauges

Anyone considering installing the Snake River gages needs to be aware that they require 3 wires from each sender whereas the factory-installed gage system uses only 2 wires. The Snake River product is no doubt a terrific system, but make certain you can run a third wire from the control head to each sender before you order. I tried on our 450 and would have had to disassemble the boat.
