has anyone replaced the aft head to an electric one on a 1993 40.5 Hunter. We wanted a full size head but from what we see it will not fit in area.

I can't speak to the Raritan Elegance model, but I installed a Sea Era four years ago. It fit nicely and operates perfectly. ZERO maintenance since installation. Winterizing is a breeze. I opted for the seawater flush model. I was able to use some of the mounting holes from the Jabsco and put a small plastic plug in the ones that did not align.

Glad you posted photos, Rich, 'cuz most people don't realize that the SeaEra pump assembly doesn't have to be behind the bowl, it can be mounted to put it on either side. If you'll be kind enough to email your originals to me, I'd like to add 'em to my files. I'll PM my email address to you.

Peggie, the link above didn't work for me. But I looked on Defender and the price is $550. How does this compare to the promo?
Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Raritan is apparently "improving" their website again...,<sigh>.... The "promo" didn't mention price, just a LOT more details--like illustrations and descriptions of the various versions available and the options--than the current page does.

That Defender price is only for a "scratch and dent" available only for pickup from their warehouse.
