I just purchased a Hunter Legend 37 from a salvage company. The boat had a fire in navagation area destroying the Electrical Control Panel, melted part of the portholes and crinkled the fiberglass beneith the portholes. I would expect that the wiring, at least some of it will need to be replaced. I will also need to purchase a Genoa for the boat. I did not receive any manuals as to details on the control panel or any associated equipment. Hunter was only able to send me there general sales info on the boat along with a wiring info. If anyone has any recommendations for control panels or have litature on the boat as well as tips for the construction I would be greatly appreciative.

Maybe I can help?

Mickey, Are you talking about a Legend 37 or the 37.5? What year? I have a 1988. Check out the photos on this site. Then email me at peakers49@yahoo.com

Fire 37.5

I had a fire on my 37.5. I sold the boat to someone else. I could put you in contact with him if your boat was a 37.5. You may also post something on the Hunter e-mail list as I know he reads it also.
