How difficult is it to rebed the standing rigging stay plates that are mounted on the deck? It does not look difficult, (however); unscrew the the bolts, remove and clean the plates then reattach them with a water sealent compound, then rebolt the screws. Could that be all there is? Also, is there a web site or article that spells out the procedere in a step-by-step photo enhanced way?
