Anyone have any good suggestions on how to and materials to use to rebed windows on an H25. They leak a few drops now, but it will get continously worse. All suggestions are appreciated! sv Ms. Toad's Wild Ride

rebedding windows,

We have an h23 and were told to not remove the plex without having a replacement, I was given this information by some one on this site whos advice I relied on, i have ordered new one from hunter marine along with the dow corning caulk, I have not gotten boat out as yet, but will soon, , I have periodically caulked the outside of the windows with good results but it did not involve, removing the window , I am not saying it can not be done, , just passing along what i was told good luck Mike B

Rebed

Be sure to re bed with a high quality silicone, as the silicone will allow for some movement of the hull and not fail and leak.

WOW!!!!

Your lucky that's all you've got to do to a 924 year old boat. I did not know Hunter was such an old company....

silicon

Make sure you do not use household silicons as they are not really designed for marine use. Suggest using the West Marine silicon as it is made by Siliflex and I have had good rsults. Crazy Dave Condon
