One of the white plastic steps fell off our swim ladder (stock Catalina 310, 2004). Luckily, it fell on deck, so I need to reattach. It appears it was glued on, no mechanical fasteners. Has anyone reglued theirs, and what did you use? I'm thinking it will be tricky to find a good bond between the stainless steel and the plastic, but I'm also not really wanting to drill holes and use screws or bolts.... ideas anyone? Thanks.

Cat Direct has an adhesive and replacement step pads, or try calling the factory for an adhesive recommendation.

Thanks! I looked at the ingredients and it appears that Devcon (among others) makes an adhesive that I can get quicker, so I've ordered some and will try it out. Thanks for the suggestion!
One other interesting thing about that swim ladder - if you live in a area with freezing temperatures, water can enter the ladder structure during usage (especially if the screwed or riveted steps are loose). When freezing temps arrive, the ladder can be damaged (tubes split) from ice forming inside the ladder. I know from experience. Mine was replaced under warranty from Catalina years ago.

Good idea if you have rivets. I appear not to, so I just used the glue and clamped it while it set. Seems to be holding fine, but you never know. Since the ladder is upside down in normal storage, any drainage holes might need to be on the "top" of the rungs....
