I have a Hunter 335 on which the mainsheet and travellr are located on the cabin roof just in front of the dodger (I live in Canada so the dodger is a must). The dodger makes it very difficult to adjust the mainsheet from the cockpit. I am considering running the mainsheet along the underside of the boom, down to the base of the mast then back along the deck to a spinlock or similar located in the cockpit. I would like to know if anyone has tried thsi before and what the outcome was.
