I had an interesting email from an owner today who asked if the name of this Smaller Boats forum could be changed to 'Trailer Sailors.' Is that a good name? Should it be renamed at all? Or should we keep the curent one? Inut, please!

sounds like a good idea!

this works for me. By the way, I do not like the change in the menu list on the right hand side of the HOW home page. It is more diifficult to spot the forum I want to select. Maybe I just need to get used to it.

A Rose By Any Other Name.....

Sure, "Trailer Sailors" sounds okay - I'll find ya' whatever ya' name it! (But it sounds a bit like Brad Bachelor's home page, doesn't it?) On the other hand.... my H25 only sits on the trailer in winter, with all the BIG boats surrounding her. I sure don't "trailer" her anywhere! Keep up the good work! Michael O'

Forum

Perhaps that should be a new forum set up for those who trailer a lot. The only trailer my 22 sees is the hydrolic one that brings her to the crane every year.

i don't care

i just want to say i just bought a used 23.5 hunter and have read these forum comments til i've almost got crosseyed and i can't imagine a better asset to a newcomer like me than to be able to tap the experiences of owners of similar boats from all over the country on such a range of things, many of which i never heard of !! i feel very lucky to have run across this web site.

I like it

It sounds catchy (ketchy?) It's also less insulting as to the size of one's xxxxx, I mean boat.

Like it as is.

Since the forum is shared by those who trailer and those who don't, why change it? After all, even the big boats coming out of Alachua were on a trailer at least once. Mark Kissel Kittiwake/H240

Leave the name as is!!

Don't change the name. Some people have already pointed out that not all boat owners trailer their boats. Like most people in this forum, I enjoy my smaller boat (H23) immensely. It is a LOT of sailing fun wrapped up in a small, comfortable, and easy to maintain package. I don't mind being referred to as a "Smaller Boat". As a famous man once said: "It's not the size of the boat, it's the motion through the ocean that counts" Peter Suah s/v Raven
