Well it's time to put Magic Wind back in the water again. She has been on the hard, for the first time, for four months. When I took it out, I received some great advise from this forum. I'm checking the through hulls, doing new bottom paint, checking bearings, dripless seal, ball cocks, changing the oil, filter, fuel filters, water filters, flushing water tank, changing belts and checking the impeller as well as rebuilding the head and replacing some running rigging. Is there anything else I should be aware of? I know I'm going to have to cut the grass off the decks and polish the hull, but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything important that I can do while on the hard. Thanks for the help and I'll see you guys on the Gulf.

You might consider dropping the rudder and checking the rudder post for wear where it leaves the hull. I had my post shear off due to some corrosion a couple of years ago. (FYI: I did not hit anything or run aground) This would be a good time to perform this inspection. If a new rudder is needed, Foss Foam in Florida is the first place to look.
