First step into my Hunter 326 floor feels like the floor is a little springhy. The woods in great shape so I thought maybe the structure underneat is a little weak? Feels that way even in the kitchen area,but over the bilge its solid. Is that just the ay its built? Just purchased the boat and trying understand whats right and wrong. Any way of making that a more solid feel?

Springy floors
I have the same problem on the companionway landing and forward of the mast support. I took aluminum "L" channel form Home Depot and thru bolted it to the underside. Had to cut it shorter than "full length" to miss the supporting structure but the spring is gone.
BTW the wood on mine looks fine too. I think the glue that holds the plys together has gone bad.
