You should have a look, but Nieuwp[oort is not next door.
Repainting the deck is very simple. You have to clean the deck, use
sanding machines. f.i. Bosch
Then clean with diluted ammonia water.
Then you deck is reading for a repaint. Use a monourathane primer first.
I mixed the s e c o n d coat of primer with the final coat. Monourathane
is a special coating for polyester.
Then I started cutting the anti-slip material (from Lankhorst). and glued
it on the deck on the anti-slip areas of the Vega.
You have to take care that the edges of the cutting are round not
square.
Its a lot of work. If you do it in the autumn the temperature should not be
below 10 degr Celcius.
Otherwise the glue wont stick.
