Forgive me for hijacking the thread but I wanted to let the group know that Lyric has departed California on her trailer to a new temporary home in Kansas. Michael Carman has purchased her with the intent of giving her the paint job she so desperately needs,
upgrading her electronics and sailing for Hawaii next summer. He has cruised in a trimaran in the Sea of Cortez in the past and most recently has been sailing trailer boats. I'm sure he will be introducing himself to the group in the near future. It's has
truly been one of the high points of my life being part of this group for nearly 30 years. I'll probably continue checking in on a somewhat less regular basis and hope that I can still contribute useful pieces of information or opinion occasionally. Fair

I have no idea what she weighs empty, but fully loaded for cruising Lealea was a bit over 6000 lbs. according to the travel lift scale in Port Townsend.
