Just to add my two cents worth (or for Steve, pence). Lyric has a seperate
block just below the halyard sheaves on the rear of the mast for the topping
lift. I use a spectra line and kept it long enough that it could be detached
from the boom and led to the stern to use as a temporary back stay. It might
keep me from losing the rig one day. walt
