Hi Alisdair

Goody, a meaty debate. I agree this is what it is all about! Looks as
though I have some more stuff for the VAGB Newsletter.

How about an article for the Newsletter on your experiences of sail
trimming?

When you joining?

I got hold of a few copies of the Safeway November Magazine and "NYALA"
looks beautiful. Have you contacted them and asked for a copy of the
photograph?

Kind Regards

Dear fellow (Vega) Sailors:
There are some of you who might- unsuccessfully- have tried
to contact me on my 'wxt8981' yahoo address. (By the way,
wxt8981 is my VHF-Marine radio call sign- should you ever
be around Florida and try to reach me)
While I was away this Summer, some one- and I found out who
it was (not a fellow sailor) had a virus and inundated me,
his friends and their friends with e-mail. It's sad to
say, but some people who use a computer behave like some
sailors who only sail close hauled, no matter which way
they sail. And those people never think about the damage
they can do because they have no virus protection. (not the
sailors, they just never go much of any where..:)
Anyway, after I came back, my inbox was not full... it was
overflowing!! I blocked most all (known) domains- and they
are still blocked. that's the reason why I can't receive
any e-mail right now. (I do receive from yahoo.groups).
Once I'm sure all that nonsense stoped, I'll open the
domains again and will be able to receive e-mail. So please
for the time being, don't write to my (personal) address.
Wilhelm, Vega257
