Brian:
Ken and I have discussed trailoring to the Sea of
Cortez ever since we got AKVAVIT. The two problems I
forsee is refrigeration and water. What are you
thinking? Maybe a winter rendezvous in the Sea of
Cortez would be great. Ken talked to a guy from
Colorado who leaves his Vega on his trailer at a
marina somewhere down there when he goes back to work
in Colorado. We have never persued it because we have
been exploring Pacific NW waters every year. Right now
I am ready for a break of sunshine and warm water!!!

Hey Judy:
I was thinking of contacting you and Ken about that very issue. First I need
a trailer and a truck to get it there...but the idea is good. I know that
the sailing is great and warm etc. but I do not know about ice and water.
That is something that we need to explore. I was hoping to get more info
from the VEGAtarians (you all asleep out there?) ...maybe later. It is
certainly something that Diana and I are preparing for in the future. One of
the reasons we bought the Vega was to be able to trailer it to a warmer
climate rather than spending days at sea to get there. Rendezvous 200? in
the Sea of Cortez...Set a date and motivate me.

Cheers
Brian
